In a recent leak making waves in the Pokémon community, it looks like a fresh Pokémon TCG set called “Inferno X” is on the horizon. This buzz has grown after a new trademark was filed, hinting at exciting inclusions of Mega Evolutions from the beloved Pokémon X & Y series on the Nintendo 3DS. Fans can start marking their calendars as the set is speculated to drop either in October or November of 2025 in Japan.

Come May, the eagerly awaited Destined Rivals expansion will hit the shelves, boasting over 240 unique cards. As summer heats up, expect to see the Black Bolt and White Flare sets around June. Another Mega Evolution set, hinted at through recent trademark activity, seems to be in the cards for later 2025 in Japan.

Typically, such trademarks pop up six to nine months ahead of an official release, although there’s the occasional twist in their release orders.
