Oh boy, so The Pokémon Company International just dropped a bomb. Well, not literally, but you know what I mean. They’re doing this Pokémon Presents thing again. Mark your calendars or, you know, just scribble it on the back of an old receipt — it’s happening Tuesday, 22nd July.
Why should you care? Because it’s all about the “latest news and updates” from this universe that seems to get bigger every time you blink. They sneakily slipped this in while confirming when we can finally get our grubby paws on Pokémon Legends Z-A.
I remember the last Pokémon Presents, vividly in fact — it was all about Pokémon Day, which goes down on 27 February 2025. Lots of stuff got announced then. Like those Pokémon Concierge episodes that nobody even knew were a thing. Oh, and for those still addicted to Pokémon GO, Masters EX, or even Pokémon Café Remix (yes, that’s still around), they got some mobile updates as well. Can’t say I wasn’t a bit invested there.
And then there was the hype around new characters coming to Pokémon UNITE. Plus, let’s not forget that triumphant-sounding Triumphant Light booster pack for the Trading Card Game. Still wrapping my head around Mega Evolution cards making their way back. The nostalgia, right?
Almost forgot to mention Pokémon Champions — some sort of development for Switch, iOS, Android, so you’ve got options. We got a more extended peek at Pokémon Legends Z-A too.
And for those counting down the days, Legends Z-A is dropping on October 16, 2025. You can grab it in physical form or snag it digitally from the Nintendo eShop for what’s now being dubbed as Nintendo Switch 2. Feels like waiting for dessert at a fancy restaurant, doesn’t it?
