Did you manage to snag a pre-order for the Nintendo Switch 2 last night or early this morning? If you did, there’s exciting news! Sonic is set to make an appearance right from the start. SEGA just announced that “SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS” will be available on June 5th.
Sonic will be joining “Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut” and “Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S” as part of the Nintendo Switch 2 launch titles. You can now pre-order both physical and digital versions of these games.
“SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS” lets you step into Shadow’s shoes in a fresh storyline. Experience his unique abilities as the Ultimate Life Form, along with a fully remastered version of “Sonic Generations.” This includes a journey through time with enhanced visuals and bonus content featuring classic 3D and 2D Sonic stages.
Get ready for “Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S,” packed with thrilling puzzle challenges! The game introduces a new “Puyo Tetris Doubles” mode, allowing players to team up in 2v2 matches on a single board for epic combos. There are diverse local and online modes supporting up to four players, plus a lineup of 40 playable characters, including Sonic, each with unique skills.
The “Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut” is the ultimate edition of the much-loved origin tale of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s series, now enhanced for the Nintendo Switch 2. This version includes new story cutscenes, a “Red Light Raid” online multiplayer mode for cooperative play against waves of enemies, and additional voiceovers in English and Chinese, as well as subtitles in multiple languages including French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
You can also preorder “RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army,” launching on June 19, with “Two Point Museum” coming later this year.
