Hey! So, it’s me again, and guess what? Yup, Sid, Brett, and I are back on the mic, diving into the chaos of game land. I can’t remember when we last did this—time’s a blur, right? Anyway, this week we’re all over the latest buzz, chatting about those digital adventures that somehow glued us to our screens. Oh, and there’s a couple of interviews too. We got Alex Bolle and Niklas Malmborg from Arrowhead Game Studios on the line. And why does their studio name make me think of archery lessons I never took?
So, what caught our eye this week? You know, besides the usual sleep-stealing wonders? Next week’s got some heavy hitters, and my wallet’s already whimpering. Check this: “To a T” on PS5 (I swear, that name just makes me think of perfectly made tea. Or t-shirts. Whichever.), plus “F1 25”. I’m more of a “drive at a cautious 25 in a school zone” kinda person. Doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate the thrill though, right?
Disney’s back, folks! “Illusion Island” featuring none other than Mickey & Friends. PS5 and PS4. Do I need another reason to be nostalgic? Nope. Elden Ring fans, brace yourselves for “Nightreign”. And wait—why does that sound like something out of a romantic fantasy book I secretly read? Not that I’d ever admit it… publicly. “Hypercharge: Unboxed” pops in too. Just sounds like whatever it is, it’s unpredictably fun.
Now, “Helldivers 2”, if that name doesn’t say enough. Super Earth’s in trouble, and frankly, as if regular Earth wasn’t enough stress. Then there’s “Mukti”—part of the Hero project from Sony India. The name’s soothing, isn’t it?
Oh, can’t forget the classics! “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” is rolling out new stuff for season 4 on May 29. More maps, more modes. More reasons to skip chores. And well, “Zenless Zone Zero” kicks off season 2 on June 6. Anniversaries and new features? Count me in.
And, listen, big shoutout to Dormilón for that wicked theme song. Seriously—kinda makes me want theme music for my life. Anyway—oh wait, no. Totally lost my train of thought there.
Oh, and tête-à-tête: PSN release dates might shift. Like clouds, or my mood when I see a spider. Details come from press vibes and ESRB descriptions. So if things go a bit wonky, don’t blame the messenger!
