Okay, so I wandered over to Palit’s booth, and man, there’s some wild GeForce RTX 50 stuff happening there. They’ve got these crazy concepts like the GameRock Diamond Edition and Tornado models. It’s like they read my mind or something. I mean, who doesn’t want their graphics card to look like it just stepped out of a sci-fi movie, right?
Anyway, they’re all about that fancy GameRock design for the RTX 50 series right now. The front of one of them is a rainbow LED fever dream, wavy and colorful in a way that makes you think of… well, I don’t know what, but it’s definitely colorful. People were practically begging for a Diamond version — or well, maybe just loudly wishing — and here it is! It’s a concept, sure, but it’s got this white shroud and a diamond pattern. Not to mention, they threw in RGB lighting just in case it wasn’t eye-catching enough.
Then there’s the RTX 5090 Tornado. It’s like they took the founder’s design and decided to amp it up or something. Dual fans sit right up front, and the air gets pushed out everywhere. It’s metal-heavy and has this exposed thermal thing going on — 360-degree heat dissipation, they call it. Fancy way of saying it cools down well, I guess? It’s not huge, but packs a punch with 600W capability.
Ah, the LYNK+. Sounds cool, right? It’s water-cooled, which somehow sounds refreshing and high-tech at the same time. Just twist this L-key thing, and it snaps in place. Easy peasy. Last year’s RTX 4090 kind of gave us a peek at this, so it’s still in the “not quite ready yet” phase. Hang in there if you’re waiting for it.
Oh, almost forgot! They’re also showing off their Gaming PRO stuff in these 3D-printed models. If you’re into themes like Doom: The Dark Ages or Monster Hunter: Wilds, they’ve got you. Sort of makes you want to dive into a game right there, doesn’t it?
So yeah, that’s pretty much what’s up at Palit. It’s a whole lot of tech eye candy, if you ask me.
