Mortal Kombat Characters Set to Join Fortnite, According to New Leak

Leaked information from a well-known Fortnite insider suggests some familiar faces from Mortal Kombat, including Raiden, Kitana, and Scorpion, could soon make their way to Fortnite. This exciting crossover is expected to happen on March 28. In addition to these characters, there are whispers about a collaboration with the anime Dragon Ball Daima, bringing along new variants of fan-favorites Goku and Vegeta to the island.

Currently, Fortnite is amid Chapter 6, Season 2, but rumor has it that a special mini-season is set to launch in May. This new chapter might take a good bit of inspiration from Star Wars, hitting right around May 4th—a date of monumental significance to Star Wars enthusiasts. Although it’s still hush-hush as to which Star Wars characters will participate, many fans are eager to welcome Cal Kestis and Andor into the Fortnite fold.

These skins won’t arrive alone; they might be bundled with a range of accessories like back blings, harvesters, and emotes. In total, there’s talk of up to 15 new cosmetics, marking a significant partnership for Epic Games. HYPEX, another well-regarded leaker, mentioned the full bundle could come at the cost of 3,300 V-Bucks, which will include all these extras.

When it comes to credits, brace yourself for the opportunity to snag Scorpion, Kitana, and Raiden outfits, each priced at 1,500 V-Bucks. Unique back blings like Scorpion’s Flame Skull and Raiden’s Amulet are also up for grabs. Players can anticipate Raiden’s Staff pickaxe, Scorpion’s Katana Duo, and Kitana’s Steel Fan, each adding a unique twist to the collection. Exciting emotes, including the iconic “FLAWLESS VICTORY,” are also on the horizon.

The Chapter 6 Season 2 battle pass already includes Sub-Zero, along with a host of Mortal Kombat-themed gear.
