I’m sitting here thinking about this Holtzman Amplifier quest in “Dune: Awakening” and, honestly, I’m kinda scratching my head. You know that feeling when you’re sure you put your keys somewhere, and they just disappear? Yeah, that’s how finding this amplifier feels. So, you’re supposed to dive into this “Wrecking Crew” contract because… well, who doesn’t love a bit of chaos?
Anyway, so they tell you this thing is chilling in the Alcyon wreck. Oh sure, just head on over! But of course, no map pins or glowing signs saying, “Hey, it’s right here!” — because why would life be that easy? Usually, stuff you need in games has this helpful neon glow, right? Well, not this time. Not our elusive amp.
Picture this: you clear out the enemies lurking in Alcyon. It’s all calm-ish. Head up those stairs tucked away in the back-right corner — not gonna miss it unless you’re daydreaming. And there’s this navigation hub, full of techy holo-screens. I remember thinking, “This is where the magic happens!” Left of the glowing planet chart, you’ll see some crates just stacked like they own the place. The end one? BINGO. That’s where they hid the amplifier, along with some Solari — sweet, sweet game currency.
But, wait. Your game tracker’s acting like you didn’t just score the amplifier. Some glitch, maybe? Who even knows. Just remember, if you grabbed it, you’re on the right track. You can just ignore the tracker’s tantrum until you hand in the contract.
Oh, and don’t rush off too soon. Have a wander, clear out more of the ship if you’re feeling adventurous. Those scavengers won’t deal with themselves, and it’s decent XP and resources they’re hoarding.
Then, whenever you’re back near Griffin Trading Post, drop everything off at the contract terminal. A modest 350 XP and 2,000 Solari aren’t gonna make you king of the universe or anything, but hey, every bit helps. Plus, you unlock extra contracts, and who knows? Maybe you’ve got some of the materials lying around already.
And do yourself a favor — check out the merchant’s stand. If you’re short on essentials like plant fiber or whatever, now’s the time to spend some of that hard-earned cash. Because, let’s face it, some days you just don’t feel like scavenging every little thing yourself. Those are the days the merchant loves you.
