This game brings a fresh narrative to the lands of Westeros, placing you in the midst of Season 4’s dramatic events. You’ll create an entirely new character—a scion of House Tyre, a lesser-known house from the North that finds itself ensnared in the realm’s tangled political web.

As you embark on your journey, you’ll encounter iconic figures like Jon Snow, Samwell Tarly, Lord Varys, and Cersei Lannister. The game promises new perspectives and events, such as the shifting loyalties of House Bolton. You’ll find yourself navigating through famous locales such as King’s Landing, Castle Black, and Highgarden, each meticulously recreated to reflect their iconic appearances in the show.

The game’s open-world design allows you to explore these famous sights and venture into the uncharted territories beyond the Wall. Along the way, you’ll discover hidden towns filled with unique quests and challenges that dive deeper into the expansive lore of Game of Thrones.

Beyond the main storyline, there are plenty of diversions to keep you engaged. Take on Faction and Estate tasks to collect money, gear, and crafting materials—helping you fine-tune your character and weapons to match your playing style.

However, travel in Westeros is not without peril. The land is fraught with desperate souls willing to kill to survive, which is where the action-packed RPG combat kicks in.

Combat is influenced by your chosen class. You can be a Knight, a Sellsword, or an Assassin, each role inspired by familiar Game of Thrones characters. The Knight wields a longsword, favoring precision and strategy. Sellswords, drawing inspiration from Wildlings and Dothraki, rely on sheer, raw power. Assassins are nimble and lethal, adept with double daggers, channeling the stealth of the Faceless Men and Dorne’s elite fighters.

With each class offering unique gear, traits, and skills, your character’s evolution is wholly in your hands. Trait trees offer branches in Attack, Defense, and Support, allowing for specialization or the development of a versatile skill set. You’ll have four skill slots for special abilities tied to each class.

Mastering combat requires reading enemy moves and reacting with precision. Guarding and dodging are essential, as some attacks are unavoidable unless quickly dodged. Sharpening your strategic thinking will be crucial to overcome your foes.

Besides the main story mode, the game includes a multiplayer feature, Altar of Memories, allowing players to join forces against legendary creatures like towering ice spiders, unicorns from Skagos, awe-inspiring griffins, and monstrous cockatrices.
