Okay, so imagine this — you’re all set for this turn-based RPG thingy, I mean, Fate/EXTRA, which was, like, locked away on some vintage PlayStation Portable. Now it’s pushed back from a “who knows when” date in 2025 to spring 2006. Wait, what? Yeah, that math doesn’t add up. So, anyway, Type-Moon Studio BB, or TMS BB, as they like to call themselves, said they’re fiddling around to make everything top-notch. Keep your socks on; it’ll be worth it. I swear.
Now, let’s talk about Saber and Caster—the cool kids on the block. We’ve got Nero, thinking she’s all that with some Roman vibes. And then there’s Tamamo-No-Mae, who’s a fox maiden straight out of Japanese myth. Seriously though, these characters deserve a standing ovation or something. And hey, if you’re hanging out in Japan, they’ve got these fancy special editions for Switch and PS5 floating around on the official Fate/EXTRA site. But only if you’re there, so no luck for the rest of us. Bummer, right?
The new version, Fate/Extra Record, is cooking away for PlayStation 4, PS5, Switch, and even on that PC place via Steam. Bet you a coffee they’ll slip in a Switch 2 version when nobody’s looking. But that’s just me playing psychic here. Your guess is as good as mine until they spill the beans.
So, what’s your take? Hanging in there, dreaming about which Servant you’d pick? Or just miffed about this whole delay situation? Somewhere in between? Let me know, or don’t. The comment box is lonely without you, just saying.
