Earlier, I was just minding my own business, when boom! The Elden Ring Nightreign servers decide to take a nap for an hour. Some maintenance thing, they said. A new patch is coming, numbered 1.01.2. Not exactly Earth-shattering news, huh?
So, this patch? Mostly bug fixes, but they’re sneaking in some nerfs. Like, sneaky ones. Stuff you might not even have clocked, honestly. Last week, we had patch 1.01.1, came out June 2. That one brought major jazz. But this one? Meh, not so much.
First bit is this bug with bows—turns out adding Magic, Lightning, Holy stuff made the bows all beefed up beyond what was intended. Oops, right? Bows have been kinda trendy recently, which just makes it kinda sad if you’ve been riding high on a bugged-out power boost.
Then, there’s this weird thing where non-direct weapon attacks were like, secretly inflicting extra power and status issues. Yeah, not supposed to happen. But hey, fixed now.
Oh, also, weapons with this “Projectile Damage Drop-Off Reduced” thing should now pop up in loot. And the Demon Merchant in Limveld quest? That merchant’s supposed to show up now when they’re meant to.
Here’s the full change log:
– Bows with magic, lightning, holy boosts were stronger than they should be—fixed.
– Non-direct weapon attacks doing extra stuff—fixed.
– Weapons weren’t in chests and loot like they should be—fixed.
– Demon Merchant missing from Limveld—fixed.
– Libra, Creature of Night doing weird loop actions—fixed.
– Game instability during battles with Adel, Baron of Night—fixed.
– Wormface’s grab was a death sentence—fixed.
But you know what? The devs ended with, like, a little warning. They’re like, “Hey, still might be bugs lurking.” Could be similar or different ones. Who knows?
Anyway, hope the downtime didn’t mess up your questing mojo. Searching for Nightreign’s rarest item is still on. No worries there! Oh, and our trusty Elden Ring Nightreign guide? Never offline. Check it out if you’re stumped on something.
