Alright, so just imagine the best space RPGs, right? They’re like, whoa. You know that feeling of being a tiny speck in this huge universe? Games like No Man’s Sky and Starfield nail it. Sometimes you feel so small, but also free, like you could just float forever. It takes me back to old-school games, like Wing Commander: Privateer. And then there’s Star Valor. Not everyone talks about it, but wow, it’s got that retro vibe. And get this, there’s a new DLC about, yep, base building. Sounds promising, eh?
Okay, picture this: in Star Valor – Base Building, you get to, well, build bases. Rocket science, I know. It’s cool though — mining stations on asteroids, production facilities. You can swap from spaceships to bases, fending off these crazy enemy swarms. It’s like the ultimate choose-your-adventure in space. Be a trader, a pirate, maybe both? Who knows. The game lets you run wild.
Speaking of Star Valor, it’s like this galaxy-sized sandbox RPG. Every time you play, bam, a new galaxy map. Keeps you on your toes. You start solo, but then you hire a crew, expand your posse. Trading, arguing, fighting — oh and seven factions are in the mix. Can get kinda chaotic but that’s where the fun is.
Oh, almost forgot, the Base Building DLC hits on July 27, 2025. No clue about the price tag yet, though. Fingers crossed it’s reasonable.
Oh, and if you’re into deeply crafted worlds or open-ended adventures, there are some killer lists out there for RPGs and open-world games. Might wanna check those out.
